Those who wanted to know how to spot an expired gas cylinder, well here is a good tip for you buyers out there!!
Here is the tip to check for the LPG Gas Cylinder :
At the side of the gas cylinder a code of alpha-numerical will be printed out for the expiry date as below :
A , B , C or D. To be followed with two digit; example D06.
The alphabet represents which quarter of that year.
A - March (First quarter)
B - June (Second quarter)
C - Sept (Third quarter)
D - December (Forth quarter)
The last two digit will represent the year where the gas cylinder is safe to be use, so if D06 this will mean it is safe to use till 2006.
